"Let us all try to stand a little taller, rise a little higher, be a little better. Make the extra effort. You will be happier. You will know new satisfactions. A new gladness in your heart."

Winter worries.

This cute kid has been looking so good! His cheeks have been pretty clear from his eczema, in fact I have had tons of comments about how good he looks. His body definatly hasn't cleared yet, but as this COLD weather has settled on us, I've noticed his cheeks starting to get a little more rough. I haven't changed what I've been doing, but I'm afraid we may be in for a long winter with his sensitive skin. Hopefully we'll figure something out to protect it, and at least I have a heads up this winter about how terrible his skin can get. I'll cross my fingers that perhaps the rougher skin on his cheeks is just my imagination, and part of the healing process!

Oh my gosh! Ellie and Connor both have terrible exzema!! I have tried EVERY perscription to no avail! I hear you girl! It is SO heartbreaking to not be able to fix it! What are you using? I have switched to ONLY using Dreft (laundry detergent) and Dove shampoo and soap for EVERYONE! It seems to be helping a little and then I use a combination of perscription creams because after a week they dont work so I have to rotate through them! Its SUCH a pain but you do what you have to! I found that Elidel is best for my kids face! Maybe that will help! Good luck!!!
