My Dad wisked my kids away to the store with him this-morning. The kids returned in with a rose & cadbury chocolate for me, and a rose and dark chocolate for my Mom.
I am a lucky girl.

Beyond my limits!

We have been rushed out of our townhome a little sooner than planned so it has been an INSANE few days. We have had more help that we deserve and we don't know how we'll thank everyone for all they've done!
Last night we got everything except for a few cleaning supplies, and we left some stuff in the garage that we couldn't fit in the trailer last night. My parents and I spent several hours at the place yesterday steam cleaning and making the place look immaculate. To my dismay our landlord called with a list of stuff that wasn't up to par. (insert my grumpy eyes here) She wants the garage hosed(we've never had a hose there, but planned on sweeping it at least) out, the living room carpet steam cleaned again(we did this yesterday). The kitchen floor mopped again. (We did this yesterday) The refrigerator spottless(we planned on doing this today) .
I keep trying to remember that we are all in a bad situation and so emotions are high. I just can't wait for the feeling of having it truely all over with! We have had it hard in that Josh has been in training and unable to take any time off of work for the move. I'm trying to keep my head up and plow through today, but really I want to sit and do nothing. even if just for a few hours. Perhaps a day trip to lava hot springs is in order this weekend. (dang gas prices!) Or a lovely weekend settling into our new home. Wish me luck. I'm at the end of my rope and holding on the best I can!
**I hope I don't look like this poor woman, even though I am sure I do look like this sometimes, but it's most definatly how I feel! **
My Ode to Mr Clean and his Magic Eraser:
until the time came to move and it was very apparent to see.
Crayons smeared in the corners,
Soap scum stuck in the tub,
sweet little handprints all over each wall!
and to my pleasure permanant marker artwork on the kitchen wall.
I thank you for my sanity,
and for helping me realize that my babies are worth every little handprint that you helped me clean. You truely eased my burden
and helped me wipe away all the dirty corners I thought could never be so clean.

14 days and counting. Eeek!
I have found it interesting that during the most humbling, and humiliating circumstances, we have felt so much love and support from our friends and family. Anyway, long story short- we are going to be moving into my parents basement for a little while to get back up on our feet financially. We have been knocked down pretty hard by the expenses of our home here. We made a valiant effort to make it work, but apparently we moved here before our time! All things happen for a reason, and I feel like we are coming away with many lessons learned. And, most of all feel blessed by the generosity and love we have been given.
There are really very few things I will miss about living here. 1.) Complete independence. ;) 2.) Getting to drive by the temple that is built in Daybreak on a daily basis.
I will not miss: 1.) The monthly crammed stress of making ends meet. 2.)LOUD construction across the street.
That's my news for today. I'm glad the word is out, it somehow makes me happy knowing my embarrasement will soon be over with. ;)I need to go and make a packing plan. Hope each of you- whoever you may be are doing well!

Lovely California!
I love that these 'Birds of Paradise' are such a common flower down there, they lined many of the streets, and this was outside one of the stores at the mall. I get them on occasion when I'm delivering flowers, but it was fun to see them in the *wild*.

I wish that my sis and I could make this an annual event. Maybe one day when we're rich! I love you Becca. Thanks for the fun day.
