"Let us all try to stand a little taller, rise a little higher, be a little better. Make the extra effort. You will be happier. You will know new satisfactions. A new gladness in your heart."

Snow is falling all around, on the rooftops, on the ground...

We are finally having a real winter in Utah. We have had so much snow the past week or so! We haven't been able to be out and playing in it as much as we'd like, but it sure is beautiful.
This is how bad my baby's excema has been. Luckily the new medications he has been on have helped a lot. And of course the apparently magic Aveeno lotion.
My little boy looks so old here! We went iceskating for family night- it was so fun, however Josh and I forgot how hard it can be on our backs slouching over to hold little hands helping them around the rink. Josh's Mom gave us a gift certificate she had won at her church for an annual membership to the olympic oval. We are excited to get to go as often as we'd like! Thanks Mom!
In other news Josh is officially on a job hunt! As not exciting as that sounds, we are anxious to find some better income. He has really loved working at the hospital, but the income has been unrealistic. As super-hero-ish as he is, it just doesn't work for our family for him to work 60 hours a week. He is an amazingly hard worker and I know he'll find something that fits our family better. We are still on the waiting list for the nursing program, and planning on heading that route, but we're going to play things by ear a little bit. Wish us luck though. Financial stress is never fun.
A couple of my dear Mommy blogging friends have recently done posts about thier short-comings as Mommys, and how insufficient they have felt. Both entries brought tears to my eyes because I felt like someone actually feels the same way I do! I was greatful for the confirmation to know that I am not just just crazy. Anyway, just wanted to thank them for thier posts. (I think you both know who I'm referring to. ) Hopefully through our friendships we can support each other and build each other up.
